CHOIR CONCERT

Christmas Concert
The fifth grade concert was a pretty big event. The audience was huge comparing to where I was standing. Almost everybody in my class was there. Every fifth grader was reguired to wear green or red to be festive. There were like 8 songs performed. First honor quior sang the Star Spangled Banner. Next they sang songs that they practiced. Then the fifth graders got on the stage and Mrs. Burd and Mrs.Terry's class sang first. After them, it was Mrs. Sims and Liddle's class turn. Finally we ended the concert by singing one song together which was called Belive from The Polar Express. :]-Aneysha.

A Reminder
__________
If you have been in war or gruesome battles I recommend not reading this.

I’m writing to tell you about Veterans Day. You should read this it could tell you a lot.

This is about Veterans Day. A veteran  is a person who served in the military or still does. On veterans day we thank the people who served our country to save ours and other lives.

What we did in Mrs. Terry and one of the students dads came in to teach us a lesson about veterans day. He showed us pictures his jobs and the military dogs he had.

Well if you want to know more look it up or ask a parent or friend.

SECRET SANTA

This month our class is going a secret Santa.
We will give books to our classmates and they have to try to figure out who there secret Santa is.  Before giving someone a book we have to fill out clues about ourselves do they can guess.

Clues Include:
Describe yourself using a smilie. A smilie is a sentence using as or like. Others include: describe yourself using a hyperbole and Describe yourself using alliteration. A hyperbole is a major exaggeration. For example, I am on fire!! You are not really on fire, myou are just really hot. Alliteration is a sentence with words that all start the with the same letter. For example: my mom makes many macaroni macaroons.the last clue is to give an  interesting way to describe yourself. Secret Santa will be so much fun to celebrate the holidays!!
