Leadership notebooks

On August 19,2015 Mrs.Sims 5th grade class,started our Leadership note books.

We put Data tracking in it for Social Studies, Science, and Math. 

    

Also, we put Goals for what we want to work on more, and practice. We also have a celebration tab, the celebration tab is for tests that we got a 100% on a test. My Contributions are jobs like police 

Officer, help mediate helping students that are having trouble finding a Win-Win. 

Videographer takes photographs of student during speacial activities such as field trips and assemblies, Class parties, and more. My self tab it's all about yourself like art project and more. Last we moved all of our 4th grade stuff so we Can out our 5th grade stuff in our Leadership note books

LEADERSHIP NOTEBOOKS!!!

On November 4,2014 we were working on our leadership noteooks. A leadership notebook tracks all of the work we do all year long. In our leadership notebooks we were writing out our academic and our personal wig planners.In our academic wig planners we wrote down what we wanted to get better at in school. Then our personal wig planners is for what we want to get better at outside of school like a sport you like to play. In those goals we would set a date when we want to accomplish that goal. For example say you wanted to get better at math you would say I want to get better at math by March. We also made a calender when we practiced what we wanted to get better at. For example i wanted to get better at basketball so I made a calender so every day I practiced basketball I would put a check mark on that day I practiced. In conclusion we all learned how to set goals so we can make our dreams come true.

KC Wolf

Today KC Wolf from the Kansas City Cheifs came to our school for an assembly. He played some tricks, did some silly things, and showed us the parts of his costume.

He talked about Red Ribbon week and why it is important to Say No To Drugs. 

KC also talked to us about the ABCs of making good choices:

He reminded us that WE have the power to choose how we live our life. It is important to be positive and proactive.

Leadership Notebooks

Today we have stared our Leader in me notebooks. In the notebooks we record our about ourselves.  Basically the notebook is about us being leaders and our leadership roles. Like this is some of our data we are collecting:
