How does pressure affect an object? LAB

How does pressure effect an object??

On Thursday, Our class did a experiment to find out how pressure
Effects a object. For this experiment we needed a clear plastic jar,
Clay, plastic mirror, straw,marshmallow, and a sharpie.We put the 
Straw in the jar then drew 3 circles on the marshmallow and
dropped it in the jar.We put clay over the top of the jar.
Then we sucked in the jar the marshmallow
 got smaller, we sucked out of the jar the marshmallow got
bigger.It was a messy day here in Mrs.Sims class
Thursday.
