The history of famous explorers

During social studies we are working on research on different people like : john Cabot,vasco Nunez de balboa,Ferdinand Magellan, and Fransico Vazquez Coronado. We have find the country they represents, Summary, drawing, travel route, and a "Did you know". You have a partner, and a computer to get your information. I'm writing this to tell you about what we were doing in social studies last week. This is about how hard we were working in social studies with a partner. The project was about famous travelers from long ago. In our projects we had to search up our travelers home town flag. For example: Spain. In the lesson we learned how to correctly research people from the past. Everyone learned about people they have never heard of before. My partner didn't even know who Fransico Vasquez Coronado was until we researched him for a week. Now everyone in the class learned something new. In conclusion, people should get researching on people from the past to see what they can learn.
