Division Stations

Started division (unit4) dividend/quotient/divisor.

divided : the first number of the problem for example 20 divided by 4 =5. 20 is the dividend.

Divisor: is the 4 and the quotient is the 5

Quotient : is the 5 

 During our math work shop at our Hands on staion we took groups of cubes To figure out the division problem and we had to 

Draw a card to figure out the problem then to use the cubes to do the problem then write the problem on the note card And then take a picture of it all.

Prezi Projects

Yesterday we gathered information and today we started our prezis. A prezi is an information pice that is like a power point but it is funer to make and it is online.

PTA Fall Fest

October 17th we had a fall fest. A couple of us stayed after school  Abi,Jenny,Mackenzie, and Olivia.  We helped with PTA setting up decorations and music. Then Dawson and dom helped mrs. Sims set up her Dj stuff. At 7:00 the fest started. And we helped pass out candy. We had a great time.

That day in counselor we talked about stress and how we react when people talk to other people. So the project was where you tossed a stress ball to a person and then you toss it to a person. And they toss it to another person and they have to remember who they tossed it to. And when we added another stress ball in we got out of order and out of control.

Artist of the week

             

   I was artist of the week a couple weeks ago, we made name plates it was fun and confusing for everybody. But it turned out great for everybody I think. Bow in the office every week someone new is artist of the week.

Sharing a Video

I found the marco polo video because i have this app called '' The Weather Channel''. i was looking what the weather would be like that day so i know to wear jeans or shorts, but i scrolled to for and saw this video about if marco polo discovered america and i thought about school because we were we talking about that stuff so i watched it and the next morning i tell my teacher, Mrs.Sims about it see told me to text her the video and show the class so i did.

Ghostbusters Board

Our bulletin board design team (Jenny,Abi ,&Addie )we prepared and accomplished doing a task of making a bulletin board design of the class's favorite movie, "GHOSTBUSTERS !"

Our class went to Kaliedascope an author and Illistrator named Amber Goodvin  works at  Hallmark she is a realy nice person and she showed us some of the cards she's made for Hallmark. She showed us how she makes them for Hallmark She had Three people go up to her working area and make some disighns of our own.

            Amber hung the paper we made our disighns on over by Mrs.Burds room she wrote thank you SNI-A-BAR for the good Ideas...

Science Expirement

What we did here is we made our own version of (weathering) and erosion In sience!

Rain water and rocks break down rock and soil. This is (weathering.)

Plant roots break apart the rocks and the soil. This is (weathering.)

Rain water dissolves soil and carries it away. (Erosion)

Rain water breaks down the soil and carries it away. Which is (erosion.) 

What erosion is ,is when it gets worn from natural causes like rain snow sleet or hail.

What weathering is, is anything that breaks rocks into smaller sediments.🔩🔨 NAILED IT !
