Making is Bread

We made Rosemary Crock pot bread it was pretty good but some people were saying it was kinda dry on the inside and needed so butter. But it was also learning in the process of making it. We had three           charts/ paper that said Natural Resources Human Resources and don't forget about Capital Resources!

Natural Resources-Resources from nature that get used up to become the product.
Human Resources-Workers.
Capital Resources-Money,buildings,and tools one needs to run a business.

                      This is how it worked let me explain. When we added an ingredient we wrote up on the paper in which one it went into, then we would add another ingredient and another and another.

Circuits

A couple of weeks ago we got to make simple circuits that involved one battery, a lightbulb, and two wires. We learned that for a circuit to work you must have a complete loop. It was very fun to learn about circuits and how they work. Some people struggled at first but eventually everybody knew how to complete a simple circuit.

It helped us learn about and how to make circuits when we actually got to make them ourselves. It's a lot more fun to learn science when we get to do a lot of hands on stuff like making circuits. We also learned about complex circuits and how they work. I think making the circuits helped people learn.

Once we completed the simple circuits we were given a couple different items and we learned about insulators and conductors. We got to see which items conducted and which items insulated. Most wood and rubber stuff insulated and most metal stuff conducted. It was a lot of fun.

Flag Economics

We did this project where each group had certain construction paper to make a flag with. It was so much fun.. When we got to the end we all learned that day supply and demand is hard

Science night

Science night was held on February 17,2015. During science night we had the high school robotics team came over to help and give a demonstration on a machine they were working on. We ran many different stations such as magnets, balance, guestimation, and ooblek. The animal room was very fun because we had the Kansas city zoo come in and share some pets along with Mrs.Sims who brought in our class pets to see as well. Some 5th graders stayed after to help like i did. We were in charge of setting up stations. When science night started everyone was told to go into the gym for a thank you to the inventors cub inventors. After the thank you to them science night began. every 15 minutes an inventor group would give their presentation to people in the library. Every person in inventors club made an invention to present that night. there were three people who would give there separate presentations then there would be a short intermission for the next three people to share. We had twelve amazing inventions that night by Calvin, Makinna, Audrey, Kylan, Ava, Jarrett, Brendon, Keegan, Jace, Connor, Madison, Aden, and me. my twin sister and I (Audrey is twin) we made an invention together and presented it together. Science night was a success for Mrs.Sims who made that amazing night all possible.

Pizza Lunch

Today Mrs. Sims ordered our entire class PIZZA FOR LUNCH!  YUMMY!!!

Inside Circle, Outside Circle

This is called ( Inside circle-Outside circle) how it works is we have an inside and outside circle 

The inside stays in one place and doesn't move at all, on the other hand the outside circle moves person. To find information about anything but we were collecting imformation about plants and the sun.and we had about one minuet to be at each person to collect imformation. And when the time was up it went( ding ding) it was a new way to to find imformation
